Easter Mani Monday

Hello Ninjas!

Sorry about missing Friday's post, I was out of town at my Grandparents' house which is about 5 hours away. Since our visit out there was a belated Easter weekend, I figured now would be a good time to show you my actual Easter manicure.

Tonight's manicure is made up entirely of the awesome Zoya Lovely polishes that were sent to me for review a few months back. The base of this manicure is three coats of Jacqueline with Piaf, Julie, or Gei Gei dotted on with the rounded end of a bobby pin. I have to say that the bobby pin is much easier to use than actual dotting tools for me. Maybe it's because the pin is shorter? On the bright side, it's a cheap way to do pretty nail art! I was aiming for my nails to look like Easter Eggs, I thought they came out pretty well :)

Zoya Lovely collection provided by Zoya PR for honest review.

Deep Sea Mani

I found a display of Wet n Wild's Mermaid Cove collection at CVS yesterday and I picked up a few pretties. I am in loooove with Diving for Pearls so I had to try it first.

Two coats Diving For Pearls, bubbles in Ulta Steal the Groom, Seahorse in Sally Hansen Jade Jump, Eyes in Wet n Wild Waves of Enchantment.

Such a great teal! I love it.

Justin and I also stopped by Five Below the other day and I picked up a few of the Christmas glitters that are named after Raindeer. I think what I have are Dasher, Dancer, and Comet.

It looks to me like Dasher is like the Glee mini exclusive Celibacy Club. It's a fine glitter topcot that's lovely in it's holographic goodness!

Orly Blue Collar and Kiwi!

My mom sent me an awesome Easter Basket that arrived on Monday. In the box there were a bunch of China Glaze colors, a Finger Paint color, and an Orly. The Orly is what I'm wearing today, Blue Collar. This is an amazing blue! It's a creme color that leans a slight bit yellow but is very vibrant without being neon. Two coats made a perfect base for what I wanted to do! on my ring fingers I added two small pieces of fimo in the shape of Kiwi Slices. The fimo set these came from is called Fruit Salad by Cina Nail Creations. I'll probably be using the apple pieces next! After adding the Kiwis, I used my (new!) dotting tool to do lime green shimmery dots with Sally Hansen Insta Dri in Chartreuse Chase. Seche QD to top it all off!

Also, my Zoya order arrived today! My next mani will (hopefully) be Meadow with the apple Fimo :)
