Triple Gold Manicure

Good evening Ninjas!

Tomorrow is test day and I'm freaking out! I spent and hour today reviewing earth techniques and then I felt like I forgot half of the water techniques I was supposed to know. So much stress!

Tonight's manicure is three different golds I used for Chinese New Year. I should have mixed in a red but I was sort of enjoying the subtle nail art with all gold dotting. This is two coats of Pure Ice Viva Las Vegas with dots of "313CP" and Bare it All along one side of the nail.

More Pure Ice Layering

Hello Ninjas!

I'm happy to see the world didn't end yesterday, aren't you? I went to an End of the World party as one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, I got to be Famine! It was fun, I got pretty creative with part of my costume too. On to the Manicure!

Today's manicure is another one of the really easy layering manicures I've done with a Pure Ice polish. This is one coat of Pure Ice Rio over two coats of Zoya Toni from their Fall 2012 Designer Collection. Rio is a really neat bright magenta jelly polish with duochrome glass flecks that flash blue and purple. This was an eye catching combination and a nice pop of color in the fall/winter months.

Purple Nail Art

Hello Lovely Ninjas!

I hope you all went out and voted if you're in the US. It's been an interesting day here in NC with a lot of back and forth about how our popular vote would go!

This is a manicure I did so I could wear the wonderful two coat purple manicure from this post for a little bit longer. I added one layer of Essie Nothing Else Metals in a cloudy shape followed by Zoya *Toni in the same shape.

Awesome purple layering

Hi Ninjas!

Monday was crazy, not only did we have the big Grand Opening but I was sick so it was quite a handful! It was great to see so many new people and celebrate this new beginning with our Jiu Jitsu guys :)

This is a manicure that was incredibly simple to do and looked awesome. This is exactly TWO coats of polish! One coat of the fantastic dark plum purple by Essie, No More Film, covered evenly and was completely opaque on the first try, I was quite impressed. The second coat was one of the pretty translucent purple with pink/gold/purple shifting glass flecks by Pure Ice, Busted. I cannot express how much I loved this manicure and it was soooo easy to do!

Halloween Challenge Day 5!

Hey Ninjas!

It's Friday and my awesome Mother in Law will be here this weekend! I always love having her visit because I have someone to go shopping for makeup with. Hubby will go in to stores with me but he doesn't find it nearly as interesting as I do!

This is my very first water marble! Please be kind... Some of the nails turned out pretty funky looking. My favorites are the ring finger on my left hand and the thumb on my right hand (Not pictured) I used Wet n Wild Black Creme, Wet n Wild Ocean Grotto, and Pure Ice 311C (? not sure of the name) to do the marble design over two coats of ManGlaze #Matte is Murder.

Layering and Stamping!

Hello Lovely Ninjas!

Today is a glorious day :) I got to sleep in and it's the first day in two weeks that I've been off from work. Not that I don't love my job but I need a little recuperative me time at least once a week. Right now I'm listening to some fantastic music, surfing the web and sharing this neat manicure with you!

This is a continuation of the last manicure I posted. On top of the two coats of Chic Reloaded by Essence, I added a super pretty iridescent polish by Pure Ice called Oh Baby! This polish is a really awesome purple/pink/blue glass fleck multichrome. THEN on top of that, I stamped a full coverage flower design from MASH plate m61 with Sally Hansen Delphinium. This was not the easiest manicure to photograph and I actually had better stamping on my right hand but here are the pictures!

China Glaze Fast Track

Hello Ninjas!

Depending on your time zone, I could be a little early on this post or just on time but it's easier to remember to do it tonight instead of forgetting until late tomorrow night! So, tonight I've got China Glaze's Fast Track from their Hunger Games collection. Fast Track is named for District 6 which is Transportation. Not sure what the finish and color on this polish have to do with Transportation but it sure is pretty.

Many people have said that this is a very plain polish but I really loved it. Perhaps it was because I was in the mood for a little more neutral look or maybe I just love anything with a gold shimmer in it but this was something I thoroughly enjoyed wearing. Though this is a light colored polish, two easy coats was all it took to make a nice and opaque manicure. This isn't quite a mannequin color on me but in a few more months, this would look great with a slight tan! The shimmer really makes this pop and I love how it leans slightly green at the right angle.

After wearing this for two days, I found myself short on time to change my manicure so I just added a pretty shimmery blue-green crackle topcoat from Pure Ice. This is one coat of *Strike a Pose over Fast Track. I love how this neat color actually matched one of my Hello Kitty watchbands.
